I am a graduate of Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. I received my B.F.A., with a major in illustration, in May of 1997. I originally decided to go to art school because more then anything I wanted to be an animator and work for Disney. I applied to Disney and other studios many times in the years that followed Ringling, working a variety of jobs such as waitressing, acting, temping and aiding at a Middle School.

I have currently put my animation goals on hold and have decided to pursue another dream of mine; illustrating children's books. This past summer I have been working on my first book: Yen Shei and the American Bonsai.

I currently live and work in Eastern Massachusetts with my husband, our dog Tolkein and our cat Newman.
